Advanced Investors Group – Investment Lending
By
This Month at the Advanced Investor Group, we’re going to be covering Investment Lending with Debbie Louisiana from Fifth Third Mortgage. We’ll take an in-depth look at where we came from prior to 2007 in the Investment Mortgage Lending to where we are today and why. This includes
- The current underwriting guidelines and how to navigate them.
- Steps in preparation for the loan process.
- The Do’s and Don’t’s during the process.
- How to get the lowest rate possible.
- Fifth Third Bank’s innovative “Preferred Purchase Program”
About our Speaker:
Debbie Louisiana is a graduate of Arizona State University with a degree in Marketing. She started her mortgage profession with Great Southwest Mortgage in 1996 where she started as a Mortgage Lending Professional. By 2000 she rose to the position of Director of Homebuilder accounts. During her first year with the company she saw a need for clients and realtors to understand their credit report and how that score affected their ability to purchase homes. So she created “Understanding Credit” a course designed for realtors to have a better understanding of the credit score process, how it affects their clients ability to buy and how to repair this. The course was taught as continuing education in Arizona until 2007 when Debbie moved to North Carolina.
Debbie is currently employed with Fifth Third Mortgage as a Senior Mortgage Loan Officer and continues to teach the course “Understanding Credit” however, given the times we live in she has added “Identity Theft” to the class to better serve the community.
