Author & Teacher: Tim wrote Create A Great Deal, the Art of Real Estate Negotiating and Create A Short Sale, Your Guide Through the Short Sale Maze.  Both books are endorsed by the prestigious Council of Residential Specialists (CRS) of the National Association of Realtors (NAR).  He teaches the Comprehensive Short Sale Seminar approved by the North Carolina Real Estate Commission for continuing education credit.  Tim has been a paid speaker at national conventions making presentations on real estate negotiations and short sales.

Trial lawyer: Tim was a trial lawyer with Young, Henrie & McCarthy and the Law Offices of John McCarthy from 1973 to 1975, where he represented cities, developers, citizen groups and environmental organizations in trials and appeals involving real estate. Tim is still licensed as a California Attorney and has been in good standing with the Bar since 1973.

REO and Short Sale Experience

Tim has sold bank owned properties since 1992, working with Ocwen, US Bank, Guarantee Bank, Wells Fargo, Home Loan Bank, Deutsche Bank, Sun Trust and other financial institutions. Lenders Asset Management Corporation was so impressed with his service that they wrote an amazing letter of recommendation. Wells Fargo sent a letter saying Tim is one of the finest brokers they have ever worked with. Tim is a member of the prestigious REOBroker.com organization, consisting of only the finest REO Brokers, which certifies that he is one of the best REO Brokers in Raleigh and the Triangle area.   Tim did his first short sale in 1992 and has been doing them ever since.  As the teacher of the course approved by the NC Real Estate Commission, he is an authority on short sales.
